e had issues with instruments poking through the wraps
when we were using 2-ply wrap. We used to wrap the
instruments several times to try to avoid this, which wast-
ed time and money. After switching to 3-ply wrap, we saw a signifi-
cant decrease in the number of tears during our visual inspections of
the wrap. This cuts down on costs since we don't have to re-sterilize
instruments as often.
