Caped crusaders They're both doing an amazing job. I love that I'm able to teach and support them as they gain experience. If your cape is torn and tat- tered like mine and you have an opportunity to mentor a new surgi- cal leader, I encourage you to do so. Ours is a growing industry with aging leadership. We need to find our replacements and nurture them so that our legacy continues well on into the next generation. OSM Ms. Mattson (leslie@almss.com) is a nurse consultant with ALM Surgical Solutions in Atlanta, Ga., which offers surgical consulting and support.
