Everybody does a bracket pool with friends and cowork- ers, but we put a lit- tle spin on ours. We fashioned a basketball hoop out of expired products and set it in our staff lounge. We used urinary catheters for the rim, Penrose drains for the net and red floor-marking tape to make the "shooter's square" on the backboard. For our March Madness bracket pool, staff reached into the basket and picked a folded piece of paper on which we'd written each college team's name. The team you picked was your entry in the tournament pool. It was a great team-building experience — and more fun than filling out your bracket online.
