ere are 2 great ways to put your younger patients at ease on
the day of surgery. We give our pediatric patients stickers to
decorate their anesthesia face masks. They decorate the
mask in pre-op, practice breathing into it and take it with them back to
surgery. We also decorated the walls of our unrestricted areas with
peel-and-stick vinyl decals of fun characters and superheroes.
