14. Record pressure ulcer data. Throughout the surgical process, emphasize communication among all team members. Record all pressure ulcer history and risk factors in the patient's chart or whiteboard, and conduct nurse-to-nurse shift reports bedside. Consider setting up a multidisciplinary pressure ulcer prevention task force that meets regularly to discuss specific cases and determine contributing factors.
