St. Corporate Health Care loved Christmas a lot
But its oldest of nurses always swore she did not.
The Shrew tisked at Christmas, and no one knows why
But many who knew her, always gave it a try.
"Maybe," they guessed, her ponytail is too tight
Or maybe her goggles affected her sight.
Whatever the reason, she growled every year
She hated the season, she made that quite clear.
She snarled her red lips, through her teeth came a "hiss"
"I'll stop Christmas coming, This year I won't miss."
The holiday schedule was posted quite early
"Great," said Shrew, "now they'll all get squirrelly."
It didn't take brains to know who'd be on call
Like the nose on your face, was the list on the wall.
As it is every year, since she joined these Yahoos
This list, on the wall, to her was old news.
The weeks and the days went by far too fast
But soon Christmas present, would be Christmas last.
The department, soon littered with reindeers and trees
It made her feel sick, and weak at the knees.
