THE COCOON PATIENT WARMING SYSTEM
The Cocoon Patient Warming System is a micro-
processor controlled system which produces forced
air to maintain patient normothermia. It is compact,
quiet, and portable and requires low maintenance. It
was developed with a digital temperature sensor sys-
tem. The system incorporates several user friendly
features such as "easy to wipe " hose cover; a larger
filter which lasts longer; and a blanket "tie-system"
which permits one blanket use from Pre-OP to PACU.
The blankets utilize "Micropore" technology which
provides uniform warm and gentle air flow to enve-
lope the patient. A wide range of size and case spe-
cific blankets are available.
