bines a surgeon's strengths (flexibility, complex thinking and soft tis-
sue management) with those of robotic assistance and navigation
(accurate planning and localization and accurate and repeatable cut-
ting). Through a CT-free approach, Navio enables kinematic and
anatomic registration, sophisticated implant planning with soft-tissue
balancing techniques and robotic-assisted bone preparation for pre-
cise, consistent results. The system's economics enable its imple-
mentation in the outpatient surgery setting, where it offers a differen-
tiating technology that can attract patients and grow surgical volume.
