While all of this new technology boosts laparoscopic views, Ms.
Mimnagh notes that there's not a single solution to all of your prob-
lems. Instead, you need to talk to your surgeons and staff to figure out
their biggest visualization challenges and look for technology that'll
give them the best views possible. "All of these cool devices working
together help clear the field," she says. "The combination of all of them
improves visualization. If you have a good assistant, and you're using
retractors and positioning the patient correctly, it gives you the opti-
mum situation."
