Single-Use Iris Expansion System for Tough Cataract Cases Diamatrix is now offering a sterile single-use version of its multi- use iris expansion system, the XpandNT. It's identical in form, function and delivery method, says the company, simplifying cataract cases that are complicated by intraoperative floppy iris syndrome or dilation limiting factors. A flexible, biocompatible nitinol ring provides 6.7mm of near circular, mechanical dilation. The ring's design provides for easy rotation and a clear pathway for instruments. The single-use version is packaged in boxes of 5, and all multi-use and single-use instruments are interchange- able. diamatrix.com J U L Y 2 0 1 6 • O U T PA T I E N TS U R G E R Y. N E T • 1 3 5
