When we hold an unan- nounced fire drill, we place the cone in an area where the "fire" is occur- ring. Then, after an employee dis- covers the "fire," she removes the decals on the cone and per- forms R.A.C.E — Rescue, Alarm, Contain and Extinguish. As she goes through each step, she leaves the decal in the area where she per- formed the action, like on the telephone after (pretending to) call 911 for the Alarm step.
