Hold Arms in Place During Shoulder Surgery
When used with ISM's forearm Phase4 Gel Splint, the De Mayo RoTractor holds the
arthroscopic shoulder surgery patient's arm securely in place at incremental degrees of
rotation, eliminating the need to have an assistant do the holding. The Gel Splint's 3
holes align with 3 connecting buttons on the autoclavable RoTractor, which uses a
spring-and-notch mechanism and maintains shoulder distraction as the surgeon rotates
and precisely positions the patient's arm before locking it in place from the sterile field.
