We broke patients' prep directions down into a more simple-to- follow kit and detailed sched- ule. We also assemble a kit in a gallon Ziploc bag containing 2 bottles of magnesium citrate, 4 Dulcolax tablets and a 238mg container of Miralax. We include specific, word-for- word directions in steps on when to take each product over several days of preparation. Photos of each product and a calendar also help patients remember what to take and when. After providing the kits for a little more than a year, we've seen a drop in phone calls to our office from confused patients.
