Exam Room Flags

GREEN MEANS GO Exam
room flags keep staff informed.
***********************
Hang exam room flags outside each pre-operative bay. It's an easy way for all to see where the patient is in the process. Each of the 6 flag colors can indicate whatever you'd like.
Here's what we chose:
Red - Contact precautions
Green - Go (or ready for surgery)
Yellow - Waiting (to go to surgery)
Blue - Anesthesia (there is an anesthesia need)
White - Privacy (the patient doesn't want to be disturbed)
Black - Housekeeping (the bay is ready to be cleaned)
