Versatile Lights Provide Accurate Views
The Volista LED light system from Maquet Medical Systems adjusts
between 3,900°, 4,500° and 5,100° Kelvin for constant color rendering, giving surgeons accurate views of anatomical structures during all surgeries,
even those performed in deep cavities, says the company. The system's
divergent light beams meet at the surgical site with minimal peripheral
reflections and consistently equivalent levels. Proprietary system designs
automatically adjust illumination to eliminate variations in LED output and
increase the output of unblocked LEDs to maintain consistent radiance if
the surgeon's head enters the light path. The Volista LEDs are compatible
with Maquet's Connect to Operate platform, which lets staff quickly
exchange lightheads, cameras and monitors on easily maneuvered suspension arms in order to configure equipment as needed.
