4. Monitor the progress
Once your collection program gets rolling, continue to observe how staff communicates with patients to ensure everyone is conveying a consistent message. Success demands concerted efforts from your nursing and business administrative staffs.

EARNING POINTS Corporate credit cards earn you gift certificates that staff appreciate.
REWARD PROGRAM
Give Credit Where Credit's Due
Do you use a corporate card for certain facility-related purchases? You can rack up points to obtain gift certificates to local retail outlets. Give out reward cards to employees who go above and beyond: staying past quitting time when cases go late, helping coworkers or patients, doing the thankless jobs that have to get done. (Sometimes, we hide reward cards in supply boxes for whoever has to count inventory.) Staffers who collect 10 reward cards
can redeem them for a gift certificate. Using your facility's rewards points is a cost-effective way to give your staff small gifts from time to time and to show them that they're valued.
