Just because a facility leader seeks accreditation doesn't mean they
like every aspect of the process. "Inspectors will try to find something
to ding you on, even if
it's updated, and some
will contradict your
work," says one
respondent. "There
are too many standards and too much
jumping through
hoops for things that
don't affect patient
care," says a clinical
manager. Both, however, say accreditation is valuable and
will continue to seek
it.
