Soon providers across the continuum of care will need to work
together, sharing resources and coordinating efforts, so do what you
can now to ensure your surgery center is included in and plays an
integral role on the multi-facility team.
To stay relevant in health care's changing landscape, your center must
be seen as more than just another costly stop along the way of patients
undergoing episodic care. It's critical to be viewed as an integral part of
the healthcare continuum, as a member of the patient's healthcare neighborhood, and as a low-cost provider of an intervention that promotes
