Ultrasonic Disinfection
The Altapure HJ-30i is a portable nebulizer that eradicates viruses, bacteria,
spores and fungi. Altapure delivers a dense cloud of sub-micron droplets. It's
capable of turning an average patient room in less than 1 hour with a 100%
kill in and around all surfaces, including privacy curtains, says the company.
It's lightweight and easy to maneuver, about the size of a small utility cart.
Altapure has been successfully piloted in U.S. hospitals this past year, where
it has consistently demonstrated its capability to achieve a predictable kill
greater than 6-log for bacterial spores, vegetative bacteria and viruses, says
the company. Altapure dispenses Altacare, an EPA-approved cold sterilant
comprised of 0.88% hydrogen peroxide, 0.36 % acetic acid, 0.18% PAA and
98.58% ultra-pure water.
