Endoscopy Center This endo center built a fall safety checklist into its electronic medical records, says Case Manager Joyce Mackler RN, MSN, CASC. "During each admission, the nurse asks the patients about any recent falls and injuries related to falls," says Ms. Mackler. "Our staff really feel like they've learned something," she says. "Not only did they get to hear it and see it, but they actually got to draw up and mix the dantrolene themselves. Those 3 things makes them feel more a lot more at ease if something were to occur."
