Page 19 IDEAS THAT WORK FAST-TRACK FORM Let Central Sterile Staff Know You Need This Set Back ASAP When a set of surgical instruments received from the OR needs to be reprocessed quickly, tag them with a red clip and put a red sheet of paper on top of the case cart. The "Reg Tag" alert should note the name of the instrument set, when it's needed and where it needs to go. Tagged sets move to the head of the line in the reprocessing area, so they're readied for return to the ORs as quickly as possible. Mary K.
