Was Positioning Cover Photo Degrading?
◗ Although I did not even notice as a surgeon, some of our female employees were mildly but not militantly offended by the June cover photo showing 3 men positioning an obviously female patient.

◗ I am writing on behalf of several members of our staff to express our utter distaste with June's cover photo. Our staff includes male and female members, and their first impression was, "Oh my gosh, I can't believe they put that on the cover." I wouldn't even like to see it inside the issue. Very poor choice. You could have chosen hundreds of other photos, and still relayed the message adequately. Did a man pick the photo? Our staff feel that this is very demoralizing for women. Otherwise, we love the magazine.
