Page 22 IDEAS THAT WORK GREASY HAIR Once Bacitracin ointment gets in a patient's hair and scalp, it's very difficult to get out. HAIR CARE Share This Trick With Patients To Wash Bacitracin Out of Hair When I perform facelifts, scalp lesion excisions and endoscopic brow lifts, I prevent skin infections by treating the wounds in the patient's scalp with Bacitracin antibiotic ointment. Trouble is, Bacitracin gets in the hair and is very difficult to get out. The secret is to have patients wash their hair with conditioner first, and then shampoo.
