New Maquet Moduevo Sky Distributor
The economical solution when space is at a premium
When Maquet Moduevo ceiling supply units were
first introduced, Getinge emphasized the platform's
future-proof flexibility to easily adapt to complex new
procedures and therapies in the traditional and hybrid
OR, as well as the evolving ICU and ED.
Space has always been at a premium when designing
efficient healthcare environments. This requirement
has now, with the COVID-19 pandemic, become urgent
due to unprecedented associated patient-care needs.
In addition, the pandemic has caused economic
consequences resulting in lost revenue and increased
operating costs. The latest addition to the Maquet
Moduevo portfolio offers a solution that precisely
addresses these current needs and inevitable future
changes — the Moduevo Sky Horizontal Distributor.
Economical Sky horizontal distributors are designed
to complement the portfolio of full-size, vertical
Moduevo service heads to help improve patient-provider
interactions where space is at a premium. High head
clearance and available high-capacity, adjustable
shelving options optimize the placement of ventilator
equipment and other medical devices requiring electric,
gas, or data connections.
Selected models feature Getinge's exclusive
Ergonomic Positioning System (EPoS) interface.
This feature makes it possible to quickly attach and
position any component or accessory on the distributor,
at any selected height, to accommodate the widest
range of staff preferences, workflow requirements, and
room configurations.
Sockets and outlets are positioned on each side panel
as well as the underside of the unit. Sky distributors can
be specified with a bottom-mounted ambient light
option. Choice of panel lengths include 18.5", 26.4", and
34.3" (470, 670 and 870 mm). Smart cable management
eliminates clutter. Sky distributors are compatible with
a range of Maquet Moduevo accessories.
