T
his year marks the 12
th
edition of the OR Excellence Awards, our annual recognition of
facilities that excel at providing safe, effective, economical and environmentally friendly
surgical care. This year's class achieved outstanding accomplishments under incredibly
difficult circumstances. They've been creative, innovative and resilient during COVID-19
to continue perfoming surgery for their patients. We're amazed by the grit and determi-
nation they've shown in the face of such unprecedented challenges.
Our popular OR Excellence conference — and presentation of this year's OR Excellence Awards to
the winners — will be held virtually for the first time. If you haven't yet been able to attend the live
meeting, you have a great opportunity to check it out during this year's month-long virtual event.
Register for the conference at orexcellence.com and let's meet online on Friday, Nov. 20 to honor this
year's winners and celebrate all you've accomplished during a year none of us will ever forget.
