Color-coded Labels Highlight High-Risk Medications
Medi-Dose/EPS has added blue, red, orange, green and pink options
to its popular line of bright yellow Lid-Label Covers. The additional
colors will help providers identify specific classes of drugs contained
in medication blister packs, says the company. The labels feature a
moisture-resistant seal and can be created with the company's pro-
prietary printing software to display barcodes, graphics, tall-man let-
tering, logos and symbols, which increase the amount of information
displayed to further reduce the risk of medication errors.
