Snag and Remove Polyps Safely and Effectively
Olympus has entered into an exclusive agreement with Endo-
Therapeutics to serve as the distributor of the SwirlNet, which can be
used to ease the removal of polyps from the colon. Physicians rotate
the device's handle to spin the basket in order to access polyps in dif-
ficult-to-reach locations. SwirlNet, which can be used multiple times
during a procedure, comes in multiple sizes to accommodate various
retrieval needs, and its deep mesh pouch makes polyp removal safer
and easier.
