An Easy Fix for Foot Ligament Tear
Surgeons can use the all-suture anchor implant of the Paratrooper
Plantar Plate System from Paragon 28 to take some of the challenge
out of repairing the foot's plantar plate. The implant, which can be
fixed into bone or soft tissue, gives surgeons the option to use a vari-
ety of fixation techniques while preserving surrounding tissue. The
implant kit comes with proprietary instrumentation, eliminating the
need to gather the complicated tools often needed to complete the
repair with standard techniques. This system is set for commercial
launch in June.
