The drug, suitable for administering to adults and children 6 years and older, is a proven option to manage post-op pain with fewer opioids. Each pre-mixed bag contains 800 mg of ibuprofen in a 200 ml low-sodium formula- tion. A 400 mg to 800 mg IV dose can be administered every six hours for a maximum daily dose of 3,200 mg.
