Click-and-Spray Clot Delivery System
Johnson+Johnson's VistaSeal delivers a fibrin sealant at targeted tis-
sue to produce a rapidly adherent and durable clot with a proven abil-
ity to sustain hemostasis, even in high-risk patients, when attempts
to control mild to moderate intraop bleeding with traditional methods
are ineffective. The easy-to-set-up device is available in 2 ml, 4 ml
and 10 ml sizes, and comes packaged in a single box containing a
pre-filled syringe and malleable dual applicators. Surgeons click the
two components together to quickly deliver the sealant in drip or
spray form during laparoscopic or open cases.
