of anatomy as they walk around and manipulate holographic images
that appear to float in midair.
"You're computing in space, not just performing tasks on a flat
screen," says Dr. Grossmann. "You could actually get inside images to
gain a unique perception of the anatomy that you could never achieve
with a flat screen or even a 3D display.
"The fourth dimension is just around the corner," he adds. "It's going
to happen."
