FYI: This cordless power system's 5 motors are interchangeable with
either the pencil or pistol style SmartGRIP (the electronics of a cord,
console and handpiece are combined in a single device). Surgeons
can operate 3 micro saws, a micro drill, and a universal motor for
inserting k-wires and drilling, says the company. Each SmartGRIP
control module can remain on the shelf unused for 30 days. The sys-
tem has a small footprint and provides an all-inclusive, non-anodized
container with 2 tray inserts to hold all components.
